The 2024 Chevrolet Trax is almost unrecognizable with its recent facelift. The latest Trax boasts new exterior dimensions that are longer, lower, and wider than the preceding model, adding 11” to its length and two inches to its width, which also manages to give you three more inches of legroom and almost six more cubic feet of cargo space (more on that later). Up front, you’ll find a set of LED headlamps, while each trim level includes its own unique styling bits, from wheels to grille treatments. The 2RS trims deliver a muscular, monochromatic exterior, 18” black aluminum wheels, and a black grille with titanium chrome accents. For drivers who prefer something sporty, ACTiV trims arrive in bold colors, 19” machine two-toned wheels and a black grille with unique badging.
Power that Performs
Even subcompact, this little SUV packs a big punch. Every variant of the 2024 Chevrolet Trax is equipped with a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine combined with a six-speed automatic transmission. This particular engine produces 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. All five trim levels come with standard front-wheel drive, ensuring a comfortable driving experience on unpredictable San Antonio road conditions. When it comes to fuel economy, expect an EPA estimate of 29 mpg for city driving and 33 mpg on the highway.
