Roadside Assistance
Call 1-888-857-5407 for roadside assistance. Assistance obtained through any source other than AGERO is not covered or reimbursable.
Trip Interruption
Maximum of $375 per occurrence when a covered repair interrupts travel.
Rental Car
Rental car support is available for up to 3 days while an authorized covered repair is being completed.

A clear process when something goes wrong.
Return to the selling or affiliate dealer
In the event of a mechanical breakdown, the customer should return the vehicle to the selling dealer or affiliate dealer to receive benefits under the limited warranty.
Get the issue diagnosed
The service department should diagnose the concern and prepare a clear failure cause and estimate before calling in the claim.
Obtain prior authorization
Prior authorization must be obtained before beginning repairs covered by the warranty.

Claim responsibility depends on time and mileage from sale.
Selling Dealership Responsibility
The selling dealership is obligated for limited warranty repairs made within 30 days or 1,000 miles or less from the designated contract sale date.
Cavender Coverage Responsibility
Cavender Coverage is obligated for claim payments made after 30 days and more than 1,000 miles from the designated contract sale date.

- Confirm the vehicle purchase date and mileage at time of sale.
- Determine whether the vehicle is within 30 days or 1,000 miles from sale, or beyond that threshold.
- Perform diagnosis before calling in the claim. Claims must include a clear failure cause and estimate.
- Obtain prior authorization from Cavender Coverage before beginning repairs.
If the vehicle is within 30 days or 1,000 miles, the selling dealership is financially responsible for the repair, not Cavender Coverage.
- Call the claim into Cavender Coverage to document the repair.
- The claim will be denied for payment but logged for tracking purposes in the Cavender Coverage system.
- The service department should then contact the internal adjudicator for approval and documentation.

If the vehicle is beyond 30 days and over 1,000 miles, the repair becomes the responsibility of Cavender Coverage.

The claims adjuster will review the diagnosis, confirm covered components, and authorize repairs.
- The vehicle must still remain under Cavender Auto Group service control.
- The Service Department should sublet the repair to a qualified repair facility or franchised dealership.
- The Cavender dealership remains the repair order holder and claim administrator.
- The sublet invoice should be attached to the primary repair order.
If the vehicle breaks down more than 40 miles from the selling or affiliate Cavender dealership, the customer should contact Cavender Coverage.

- The repair should still be called into Cavender Coverage for documentation.
- Cavender Coverage may facilitate payment to the outside repair facility on behalf of the selling dealer.
- The repair amount will be billed back to the selling dealership on the monthly contract remittance statement.
